These settings allow you to block the installation of the Comet Cursor program which is sometimes installed automatically as an ActiveX control.
Open your registry and find the key below.
Create the following sub-keys to block the primary domains that the cursor is installed from.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\...\ZoneMap\Domains\cometcursor.com]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\...\ZoneMap\Domains\cometsystems.com]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\...\ZoneMap\Domains\cometzone.com]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\...\ZoneMap\Domains\livecursors.com]
Under each key create a new DWORD value called "*" and set the value to "4".
Restart Internet Explorer for the changes to take effect.
Note: This setting can also be applied on a user-by-user basis by modifing the same key under the HKEY_CURRENT_USER hive.
